I once found a fluted glass at the foot
of a door in a beautiful city
where morning sunlight spilled through the Lindens
like ghosts lining the streets and I whispered
a name that was still unknown to me then
but one day poured from your lips to my ears
turned in slow motion a ring song sang out
on an anvil and the air vibrated.
I love this! I couldn’t tell you why, but I love this!

gorgeous, the sounds of the words are beautiful, in slow motion a ring song sang out is just lovely but then so are the first 2 lines (and the ones in between!) I’m going to have to copy it out if that’s ok?
